Mutations 2024

Inspired by the success of 2014’s DRILL:Brighton, a co-curation of new, alternative music by post-punk legends Wire and innovative Brighton-based promoters Form (then known as One Inch Badge), Mutations has followed a similar multi-day, multi-venue format since 2015 (baring lockdown stricken 2020), showcasing an eclectic range of artists; from the newly hatched to the relatively established. And like the grand ole new music showcase that takes place in Brighton every May, The Great Escape, it’s a chance to discover new music, as well as perhaps continue your blossoming love affair with artists you may already be familiar with. But, unlike The Great Escape, it’s not a showcase as such, where the great and good (and not-so good) of the music industry congregate to check out new talent, network, and seal deals.
