Over the years Brighton has established itself as a hugely important industry and music making hub with many music-orientated companies making the city their home. We are home to proportionally more live venues than anywhere else in the country. A variety of promoters are helping to bring the very best national and international touring acts to the city while Brighton is also home to an incredible number of talented bands, musicians, singers and singer-songwriters who are either from the area, or have come to the area bursting to get out there and make their mark.
Add to that the brilliant infrastructure that Brighton has to offer in terms of its recordings studios, labels, rehearsal studios, music colleges, music shops, and record stores and you have all the ingredients for an amazing music city. That is why Brightonsfinest has thrived in such an environment, and why our free bi-weekly Music Guide has had an immediate impact, helping to aid more artists and promoters to get their message across.
Brightonsfinest has been focussing on new music via our website, social media platforms, and radio show for some time now. The addition of our printed Music Guide represents a distillation of our content, that will serve to inform and entertain our music-loving city, via a bi-weekly, focussed collection of interviews, reviews, features, listings and previews that highlight what’s hot in new music in the city that week.
* Brightonsfinest Music Guide is not currently unavailable but hopes to return for publication in the near future.
