White Room drop new single ‘Bleeding’

2018 was an exciting year for Brighton psych outfit White Room. Not only did they perform a euphoric headline set at Patterns, but they embarked on a brilliant support tour for Doncaster rockers The Blinders, which included an iconic night at The Haunt. Now, the quintet have given us a taste of what’s to come in 2019 with ‘Bleeding’.

Recorded at Slumber Skies and produced and mixed by Brighton’s Theo Verney, ‘Bleeding’ is an art-rock foot stomper with an erratically spiky guitar line and frontman Jake Smallwood’s iconic drawl. A stuttering indie-rock delight, it evokes the likes of The Beatles and Sparks and it fits into the White Room oeuvre sublimely.

Furthermore, the band are about to head out on a mini tour of the UK, which will hit Manchester’s Soup Kitchen and London’s Oslo, before a homecoming show at Brighton’s The Haunt on 2nd February. Promoted by Lout Promotions, tickets are still available.
