Thyla release new track prior to Alternative Escape show

ThylaPropulsive dream-pop group Thyla are finally bursting out of their cocoon, ready to showcase their ear-catching wares to the rest of the world, including a performance at the Brightonsfinest Alternative Escape showcase, 19th May, at St. Mary’s Church.

Formed at BIMM, drummer Danny Southwell, bassist Dan Hole, guitarist Mitch Duce, and frontwoman Millie Duthie have been working up their music and finding that there is a lot of steepening interest out there for their sound.

‘I Was Biting ‘ was released a few weeks back, and showcased a grungier side to the four-piece, while brand new track ‘Blame’ is even more aggressive, with a post-punk feel, a result of their desire to kick up a storm on the live stage. “It’s super fast and it’s wicked to play on-stage,” Duthie has said.
