The Lemon Twigs share another cut from their upcoming rock musical.

The follow-up to last year’s Brothers of Destruction EP, and their 2016 debut album Do Hollywood, The Lemon Twigs are set to release Go To School on 24th August. The latest tune to be released from it is ‘Small Victories’.

“When life’s obstacles start to wear you down, it’s the little things that keep you going,” the band explain. “Bowling the perfect game, catching a glass before it falls to the ground, making the train in the nick of time. While there are no guarantees, we can always count on ‘Small Victories’.”

For their second release, the D’Addario brothers have put together a rock musical no less, the 15-track opus written, recorded and produced by Brian (21) and Michael (19) at home in Long Island and tells the coming-of-age story of Shane, a chimpanzee raised as a human, coming to terms with the obstacles of life. Todd Rundgren and the D’Addario’s mother, Susan Hall, play Shane’s parents. Go To School also features contributions from Jody Stephens (Big Star) and their father Ronnie D’Addario.

The Lemon Twigs will be in the UK later this year for a tour with Arctic Monkeys, and also two headline shows at the Lexington, London, with more to be announced soon.
