It’s not just live music at The Great Escape. Running in parallel is The Great Escape Convention (TGE:CONVENTION), aimed at those who work in the music industry, and today another round of speakers and partners taking part this year has just been announced.
Across four days, delegates will have access to three full-day CMU Insights conferences, the IN:CONVERSATION programme of one-on-one interviews and the TGE:DIY day for future talent, plus the COURTROOM:SESSIONS and networking parties presented by the many industry partners.
Senior execs from Live Nation, BIMM and the Musicians’ Union join the Education Conference, while Ticketmaster, The Orchard and JAAK are added to the AI Conference, and speakers from Coda, Believe and BPI have been confirmed for The China Conference.
Also confirmed today are The Great Escape’s initial partners for TGE:DIY, which include AWAL, Vevo and Loud and Quiet, while BIMM return as the lead education partner.
To access the TGE:CONVENTION you need to get yourself a TGE delegate pass or convention-only pass. This will also enable you to see over 400 acts perfoming in 30-odd venues, 17th-19th May, as well as access to the growing The Alternative Escape. Standalone tickets are also now available for The Education Conference on Wednesday 16th May.
