Those uber-veterans of rock’n’roll can never say goodbye it seems. The Rolling Stones say, “We’re just getting started”, as they announce their first UK concerts in five years, starting at the London Stadium on 22nd May, the dates making up the second leg of the No Filter tour that Ronnie, Charlie, Mick and Keith began in Europe last year.
They last performed in their home country in the summer of 2013, including a legendary, news making performance at Glastonbury. Unbelievably, they’ve been touring since 1963. They were one of the very first rock stars, and 55 years later they are almost as big as they ever were. Other dates in the UK include Manchester Old Trafford (5th June), Edinburgh Murrayfield (9th June), Cardiff Principality Stadium (15th June) and London Twickenham (19th June).
Tickets go on sale 2nd March.
