Safe to Swim are here to make ‘Friends’ with brand-new single

We’re big fans of indie-pop outfit Safe to Swim here at Brightonsfinest, having seen their devastating live display numerous times around the city, most recently with their excellent set at Hidden Herd’s festival back in September. Now the band look set to take it to the next level with new single ‘Friends’.

Born out of conversations with friends who had experienced severe loss, the song has the trademark contagiousness of their last singles ‘Struggling’ and ‘Boyfriend’. The track, which will be known to fans of the band’s live endeavours, features beautifully upbeat vocals from frontman Jim Filippides and an extremely captivating chorus.

To celebrate the single, the band are hosting a ‘Friends’ single release party at the Green Door Store on 7th November and are joined by fellow Brighton buzz bands Youth Sector and Moth.
