It was announced on Tuesday that, due to unfortunate circumstances, rap star Professor Green, aka Stephen Manderson, would have to cancel his UK tour at the last minute. Whilst literally packing the tour van, Green had a seizure and fell, leading to him fracturing vertebrae in his neck. Those of you looking forward to seeing his show at The Haunt next Thursday will need to wait a little longer, as Manderson has promised to reschedule for the winter once he has had time to suitably recover.
“I had seizure this morning which resulted in a fall while I was packing for tour. Depending on how you look at this fall I was extremely lucky. I fractured vertebrae in my neck and subsequently had to cancel my tour that was due to start today. I’ll be back in the winter with a bigger tour. I’ve had two further seizures and am lucky I didn’t break my neck. Really fucking lucky. Thanks for baring with me.”
Having never experienced a seizure before this event, Manderson went on to experience two more whilst at hospital. He has theorised that these attacks have come as a result of over-exhaustion, and will be addressing his lifestyle over the coming months to improve his health condition before venturing out on the road again.
A spokesperson for Green stated that all tickets will be refundable from the point of purchase, so if you are holding tickets for the event you will need to contact the ticket outlet and request a refund.
