There aren’t many promoters and labels that support Brighton’s thriving music scene like QM Records. From live gigs, to single launches, as well as appearances on radio stations and conferences, the label is at the centre of a flourishing scene. Which makes it all the more exciting that they’re bringing back Moves Festival.
This time taking place at The Old Market, on Saturday 6th April 2019, it’s announced its first four acts for the evening section of the festival, and it’s a typically eclectic mix of brilliant modernist pop.
Normanton Street will be this year’s headliners, while there will also be a performance from rapper and MC Bobbie Johnson. Additionally, Kudu Blue, who impressed us recently with their brilliant single ‘Auras’ and Alfie Neale, fresh from his iconic sold-out gig at The Haunt, will also feature on the bill.
With four of Brighton’s most fiery performers, who have played huge shows across the country and are reaching legendary status along the South Coast, it’s set to be a brilliant day of entertainment. Featuring day time talks and industry panels before the live music kicks off, as well as club nights after the performances, it’s set to be a unique festival that truly celebrates a brilliant Brighton music scene.
