Since announcing its return at the end of last year, with a line-up consisting of headliners White Denim, as well as Snapped Ankles, Josefin Ohrn and Goat Girl, there’s been a lot of buzz surrounding Mutations Festival, resurrected by One Inch Badge and Small Pond Recordings. Now, we’ve learnt where it’s taking place as well as the line-up in its entirety.
Mutations have finally announced the festival’s ‘secret location’ as Hansen Hall, North Street, Portslade. Just “seven minutes from Brighton”, it’s still listed on Google Maps as ‘CityCoast Centre’ at the time of writing, if you’ve been struggling to locate it.
The line-up has gained London’s exotic psych band Flamingods, Wigan’s TVAM, ferocious rock quartet Saint Agnes and Chiverin-signed Tamu Massif. Completing this brilliantly varied line-up, will be some of Brighton’s finest acts. Alt-poppers Orchards will be appearing, while LibraLibra, who impressed us with their set at Bad Pond Festival last year, are also playing a set. Rising singer-songwriter, Jacko Hooper, rounds things off.
With both its full line-up and venue now announced, we expect this to be a sell-out, so you had better be quick if you want one of the last remaining tickets.
