Not set with being one of the most forward-thinking and progressive festivals in the UK, Love Supreme is also returning with its mini-festival at London’s Roundhouse. While last year saw performances from the likes of Mr Jukes, Cory Henry & The Funk Apostles, Moon Hooch, Elli Ingram and Soccer96 all perform, this year’s looks set to be an even bigger affair.
While r’n’b and soul star Laura Mvula and Peckham jazz maestro Kamaal Williams are set to headline the event, the “mini-fest” will also see performances from Melt Yourself Down and Judi Jackson. On the ‘Jazz in the Round Stage’, there will be performances from Liran Donin’s 1000 Boats, Randolph Matthews, Hexagonal and Alina Bzhezhinska Hip Harp Collective.
Meanwhile the ‘Supreme Standards’ stage will be blessed by Neue Grafik, Layfullstop, Dowdelin and Bad Honey. A truly diverse event, steeped in the finest from soul, jazz, funk and r’n’b, it’s already looking like an unmissable event.
Love Supreme at the Roundhouse will take place on Saturday 13th April 2019.
