The much loved James are back in action with a new four track EP, Better Than That, produced by alt-J and Wolf Alice producer, Charlie Andrew.
Never a band to rest on their creative laurels, Tim Booth and co follow up their number two album of 2016, Girl at the End of the World, with the upbeat lead track ‘Better Than That’, an ode to improvement, which you can hear here:
‘Better Than That’ is now available to stream and download, and the remaining EP tracks ‘Busted’, ‘Hank’ and ‘Broken By The Hurt’ will be released every second Wednesday from 4th April through to 16th May.
May also sees James embark on a seven-date UK tour, with Lanterns on the Lake in support, re-visiting intimate venues across the country. The band are then set to play a string of shows in the summer, starting with Common People Festival, co-headlining the Southampton event on Saturday 26th May, and headlining Oxford on Sunday 27th May before going on to perform at a handful of festivals around the UK and Europe, including Latitude, Kendal Calling and Electric Dreams.
