Fenne Lily’s on hold

Fenne LilyFenne Lily has released a self-directed video for the title track from her soon-to-be-released debut album, On Hold, out 6th April. This DIY video stars Fenne roller-skating around London on a mission to offer random acts of kindness, the unfolding of which is all captured by her friend following behind on a skateboard with a camera.

The album was recorded in Bristol with PJ Harvey collaborator John Parish, where Fenne is now based, and on the Isle of Wight with producers Tamu Massif and James Thorpe, before then being mixed by Ali Chant, who Fenne first worked with on Aldous Harding’s critically-acclaimed album Party, for which Fenne provided guest vocals.

As part of a headline UK tour she’ll be visiting Brighton (The Hope & Ruin, 9th April) with a newly-assembled band.
