Anyone in and around Brighton will have come to love post-punk quintet Ditz at this point. Having supported everyone from Projector, to Lice, and Queen Zee, as well as awesome headline shows of their own, they’ve become an integral part of the Brighton music scene. With a steady amount of momentum now built, they’ve returned to the studio for another thrilling slice of noise-rock in the form of ‘Gayboy’.
Released via Permanent Creeps, it’s a sleazy, spiky slice of post-punk with an incredibly polished build-up of thrilling, anxiety riddled tension and release. Like Fugazi meets Demob Happy, it’s another brilliant cut from the Brighton band and, simply, they’re as good on record as they are in the live sphere. One of Brighton’s best up-and-comers, we can’t wait to hear more.
