Brighton’s Jumanji get tropical on new single ‘Houdini’

Ever since catching their set supporting Pizzagirl back in December, we’ve been hooked on Jumanji’s brand of indie-pop. An extremely polished band, who revel in sultry beats and breezy rhythms, they’ve become one of our favourite Brighton bands. Excitingly, then, they’ve returned with a brand-new single. Titled ‘Houdini’, it’s another tropical indie banger from the sparkling quintet.

Musically reminiscent of Glass Animals’ carefree vibes, it’s a laid-back, yet infectious, summer vibe that is making us wish for summery times. With lead singer Neneh Atkins’ vocals evoking the likes of Sigrid and Superorganism, too, it’s surely only a matter of time before the band reach the upper echelons of indie-pop.
