This rather brilliant, independent, and award-winning multi-arts festival, Brainchild, has just announced the second wave of acts for this year, 13th-15th July.
Shanti Celeste, Mafalda, Oscar Jerome, Wu-Lu, Pinata, Consented, Alaskalaska, Hush MOSS, Jay Jay Revlon, and more have been added to the likes of Ben Hauke, Harri Pepper, Zakia, ARIWO, 30/70, Penya, Where Pathways Meet, Pyjaen and EmmaJean Thackray. This year will also see Shabaka Hutchings’ MOBO Award-winning band, Sons of Kemet, headline the festival.
Taking place at Bentley Wildfowl & Motor Museum, just a few miles north east of Brighton, Brainchild has become an annual gathering for an ever-growing network of artists to showcase new projects, share skills, meet collaborators and make friends. Over 300 artists contribute every year in live music, art installations, DJ sets, film, theatre, spoken word, talks and workshops.
