Bill Ryder-Jones announces new album

One of the founding members of the much loved Liverpool pop-psychers The Coral, Bill Ryder-Jones has announced the release of his fourth studio album, Yawn. Occupying a dual career as producer (including the recently-released debut album of Our Girl) and solo artist, the first track to be shared from Yawn is ‘Mither’, a song about his mother, and features the words of Mick Head, of Shack and The Pale Fountains fame.

Recorded and produced entirely by Ryder-Jones himself, with a little help from friends including guest vocals from The Orielles and Our Girl, Bill has also been steadily building up a list of album production credits for other musicians, including the aforementioned Our Girl, Hooton Tennis Club, Brooke Bentham and Holly Macve, who he records at his own place in West Kirby, aptly titled Yawn Studios.

As part of a UK tour he’ll be performing at London’s Queen Elizabeth Hall, 20th September.
