Seeva and La Lune collaborate on ‘Heartstop’

This is very exciting indeed. Brighton artists Seeva and La Lune have teamed-up for a brilliant collaboration on ‘Heartstop’. Written while both were single on Valentine’s Day, it’s a track that combines two different sides of the pop spectrum. While La Lune’s pop sensibilities lie more on the indie side, with The xx and Bon Iver cited as influences, Seeva tackles a more mainstream edge, and the finished product is something incredibly special.

Liverpool outfit Trudy and the Romance have been a favourite of Brightonsfinest for a long time now. Not only did we call their last Brighton headline show, “Contemporary, stylish and huge amounts of fun”, but we had them on our very own stage at our Alternative Escape showcase at last year’s The Great Escape Festival. What a year Brighton-based three-piece Demob Happy had last year. Returning from the brink of dissolution, after losing a band member, the band released their sophomore album Holy Doom to critical acclaim. Not only that, but the trio also provided main support for Jack White on his mammoth UK tour, as well as touring America with Nothing but Thieves. To think they started by playing sets at Brighton house parties!
