Bleach is one of those venues you have to play to the room. The first band did not and it sounded terrible, Fragile Creatures and Everywhere nailed it. It was a hot, humid summer's night and Fragile Creatures kicked things off with ‘Into The Night’ rolling straight into ‘Leave it Alone’ which got everyone’s attention. Their set rolled through the Creatures' usual blend of fast-paced music you want to dance to interspersed with the more gentle bits when they “bring it down”.

Tonight we were treated to a three new tunes, one about Katie Hopkins, one about happy hour pubs and another inspired by Kanye West. Over the last few Fragile Creatures gigs I’ve heard the band try out about six new tracks and all of them sound great, despite being a little raw. All the songs from the first album now sound really tight live every time they play them, I can’t wait till the new tracks are all up to the same level.

I have to admit it was mainly Fragile Creatures I’d come along to see, Everywhere was going to be the unknown extra bit on the end. From the moment they started to the end of the set they captured my complete attention. Everywhere have a hint of Placebo in their sound and remind me very much of when I discovered Without You I'm Nothing. They certainly had a big sound and the three musicians each got their moment to shine while frontman Max Berga entertained the crowd. They had it all, catchy guitar licks, great drum rolls, groovy basslines and a frontman with boundless energy.

The whole set was a well-balanced collection of great pop tunes that were easy to pick up and get into even having never heard them before. They too seem to have a great range of tracks, ideas and know how to push the right buttons. It’s quite easy to see how their tracks have gone viral and if they keep pulling off polished performances like they did this night then I’m sure they will go far. The whole band put 100% into the show even though it’s far from the largest audience they have played to and everyone there had a great time. You can’t ask for more than that.
