Public Access T.V. - Street Safari

The latest in a positive flood of excellent New York bands, Public Access T.V.'s sophomore album is a deepening claim to the band's unique identity. Having said that, there's flashes of Bowie and Talking Heads in there that make this a nod-filled extravaganza, and one that demands a tap of the foot.

Their music puts the joy in enjoyable - we're thrilled to be welcoming them to the studio for a session while they're in town on 9th May.

The 52nd Brighton Festival, the largest of its kind in the UK, announced its programme this week, with a launch event at Brighton Dome, attended by this year's Guest Artistic Director, David Shrigley. A relative unknown, Shrigley operates in the world of the visual arts, as a lively, sly, sometimes subversive illustrator, writer, film-maker, conceptualist and sculptor.
