Sussex-born soul singer Rag’n’Bone Man brought home a gong for Best British Single at this year’s BRIT Awards for ‘Human’, narrowly missing out as a runner up in the British Album of the Year and British Male Solo Artist categories. Public Access T.V. - Interview - 2018

Public Access T.V. are one of the most polished and finessed bands on the scene at the moment. Their first record, Never Enough, garnered comparisons to The Strokes for its hook-heavy, jovial take on indie guitar music, but they’ve certainly got the depth and the tunes to not just be a hand me down Strokes rip-off. Filled with great indie-pop tunes, as well as a juvenile sense of fun and freedom, it was an exciting record that lovingly looked back to early 2000s American rock.

The ex-Million Dead frontman Frank Turner has just aired the title track from new album Be More Kind, which is due out May 4th via Xtra Mile Recordings/Polydor Records. Turner says, "'Be More Kind', is at the heart of the album, both lyrically and musically; when I finished it I could see the rest of the album coming together around it.’’

Our Girl join Black Sabbath and Motorhead on special list

The Brighton-formed and London-based indie-art-rockers Our Girl, who feature The Big Moon's Soph Nathan amongst their ranks), have just announced brand new single 'Our Girl' continuing a rather small line of acts who over the years have named a song after their band name (most notably perhaps Black Sabbath, Talk Talk, Belle and Sebastian, Kool and The Gang, and Motorhead). It's the first single to be released from their self-titled debut EP, released late last year.
